Beach Mobility, LLC, currently has durable, clean, top of the line beach wheelchairs, rollators and standard wheelchairs for rental.
Booking with us with us means your equipment has been sanitized and inspected before you receive it. Because we specialize in only wheelchairs and rollators, you can rest assured you are getting the best wheelchair for your money.

Beach Rollators
(Walkers)
Our beach rollators operate similar to a regular walker, and feature a seat as well as a net basket under the seat to store your beach necessities. The tires are designed specifically to roll on sand, and the rollator folds down for ease of transport. The hand brakes work just as a bicycle brake does, but can also be pushed down to "lock" the rollator in place while sitting for a period of time.

Our beach wheelchairs are manufactured especially for rolling on sand.

They may be rolled on pavement up to a couple of blocks, but it is not recommended as they are not designed for that use. They roll best on sand!

Each chair accommodates up to 250 lbs.

The dimensions are 34"wide by 51" long by 48" high.

Where, When, and How
So you've decided you need a wheelchair or a rollator... how do you get one?
WE DELIVER TO YOU!
Your wheelchair or walker will be delivered to your rental home on the morning it is booked, and will be picked up the following week. For example, if you book it on a Sunday, we will have your chair delivered to you early Sunday morning and will pick it up the following Sunday morning.
PLEASE PUT YOUR WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER BACK WHERE YOU FOUND IT (i.e., under the carport in front of the house, locked to a post on the side of the house, etc.) ON THE MORNING IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP. The night before is even better! Your assistance is greatly appreciated as it allows us to get our inventory sanitized and delivered to the next family that wants to get to the beach!
RODANTHE, WAVES, and SALVO: We are happy to announce that beginning in the summer of 2023, our delivery area has been expanded to Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo! We deliver to those towns on Saturdays throughout the season. If you would like to book in one of those towns, please select a Saturday from the drop down menu when you are booking.
COROLLA: We also deliver to Corolla on Sundays! We provide full service to Corolla (with the exception of the 4x4 area, please see below) on Sundays! Please select Sunday from the drop down menu when booking.
DUCK, SOUTHERN SHORES, KITTY HAWK, KILL DEVIL HILLS, NAGS HEAD, SOUTH NAGS HEAD: OBX Beach Mobility provides wheelchairs to these towns on Saturdays or Sundays, just pick your arrival date and town from the drop down menus on our booking page!
WHERE WE DON'T DELIVER: Please be aware that OBX Beach Mobility delivers to most of the areas of the Outer Banks, with a few exceptions. We DO NOT rent in the 4x4 area or in Carova. If you are staying in the 4x4 area, your reservation will be canceled and your rental fee will be returned to you!
Our deliver area does NOT extend to Hatteras, Frisco, Avon or Okracoke.
